Ashley adding accent line

Article Abstract:

Ashley Furniture will introduce 30 sets of lamps at the High Point market as part of its efforts to provide accessories to its fabric and leather upholstery lines. The lamps, which will sell for $25 to $75 is an offshoot of the firm's dedicated store program. Chuck Vogel, executive vice president, said the firm is using a blend of domestic production and offshore sourcing so it could have a full range of products, that are designed to make the stores attractive one-stop shops. Vogel said the accessory program is proof of Ashley's commitment to provide the dealer network with a variety of products so they could compete.
