Ideas for the kitchen in a period house

Article Abstract:

A kitchen is usually the first room in a house that is renovated according to dictates of fashion but there are ways to preserve the old especially in a period house. Modern appliances could exist side by side with antique furniture. The kitchen's function as a secondary social hall could be kept.

A pre-revolutionary New Jersey House

Article Abstract:

The Posts Mills house in Riverdale, NJ, has been mentioned in many local histories. Presently owned by Frank and Susan Serico, its strategic location and industrial history has given it a place in the annals of the Pompton mutiny and the Revolutionary war.
