The house that Jack (re)built

Edyth and and Jack O'Neill had the Willington, CT, farmhouse of Thomas and Thankful Rice moved 2,000 miles to their Fredericksburg, TX, farm in 1992. The couple then reconstructed the beautiful old cape built by Thomas Rice himself in 1768 for his family.

A new house in an old village

Padanaram Village, MA, traces its roots back to 1602 when Bartholomew Gosnold sailed into nearby Buzzards Bay. Antique dealer Jim Faria chose the historic village as the location for a classic home he built in 1992 for his wife, Barbara.
