22nd IBIS Conference: Dublin

Article Abstract:

The 1992 IBIS Conference was held in May in Dublin, Ireland, and was entitled 'Paying for the Promise.' The first plenary session's speakers discussed the employee benefit laws of Chile, Australia and Europe. Country updates on Finland and Greece were also included. The second session focused on the pensions system of Ireland, particularly the 1990 Pensions Act. The European Community was the subject of the third and final plenary session of the conference.

Article Abstract:

International conferences on compensation and benefits management are scheduled in the US, Europe and Canada from Jan to Oct 1992. A diary of these conferences is presented giving the conference name, place, date, topics covered, contact persons and their business addresses, telephone and fax numbers. Publication of the diary is done twice a year, in the Jan/Feb and Jul/Aug issues of Benefits & Compensation International magazine.
