Article Abstract:

A study on the relationship between human resource and firm performance, the links between strategy, human resource, and the use of flexible employment contracts, and the moderating effects of strategy on the links between human resources, flexible labour and firm performance in manufacturing and service-sector companies is presented.

Employee involvement, organizational change and trust in management

Article Abstract:

Using data culled from the most recent Australian Workplace Industrial Relations Survey, this study examines the impact different types of change strategies may have on employee trust in management. Accordingly, statistical analysis uncovers considerable negative effects of change on trust.

Evolution of organizational governance and human resource management in Chinas township and village enterprises

Article Abstract:

The evolution process of organizational governance in China is studied. An investigation conducted on twenty TVEs (township and village enterprises) show that (Human Resource Management) HRM in Chinese firms is becoming more marketized to meet the upcoming challenges in Chinese economy.
