Corporate manslaughter bill removes identification of 'controlling mind'

Article Abstract:

The Corporate Manslaughter Bill applies to corporations making it possible for the Crown body to convict any organization, except the smallest by removing the requirement to identify the 'controlling mind' behind a defendant's company action. The bill would not apply to individuals and therefore would not result in anyone being punished, though it applies to corporations and to some Crown bodies excluding unincorporated bodies.
