De-industrialization and the edisappeared workersE

Reasons for de-industrialization and disappearance of workers are represented. Majority of displaced workers include, people who are less educated and who started working at younger age. Within 6 u 7 decades, Hong Kong underwent a complete cycle of industrialization and de-industrialization. People had to under go many adjustable problems and face difficulties in society

Challenges for the boundaryless career odyssey

Article Abstract:

New Zealand stories and research is being analyzed to study the limits of boundaryless career theory and local ethnic groups, women's career experience and collective cultures are focused. It is stated that boundaryless career odyssey is in danger of becoming a narrow career theory applicable only to the minority.

Boundaryless careers? The (in-) voluntary (re-) actions of some Chinese in Hong Kong and Britain

An account of the careers of two generations of Chinese in Hong Kong and two generations of Chinese in Britain is presented. Both intra-generational and inter-generational similarities and diversities in career development of the Chinese are focused.
