Article Abstract:

The various reasons for the current logjam between the European Parliament and its Council of Ministers over the issuance of a proposal by European Commission relating to the usage of temporary workers by agencies has been described. The steps taken by some member states like Germany, Italy, etc in the European Union to facilitate the use of temporary workers through agencies have been mentioned.
