EU restrictions on solvents will counter substance abuse

Article Abstract:

The European Union (EU) legislation has restricted the use of two solvents, toluene used as a solvent in paints, inks and dyes, and trichlorobenzene (TCB) used as an intermediate in the manufacture of herbicides and as a process solvent in closed systems. The restrictions imposed to counter substance abuse was proposed by the European Commission on advice from the EU Scientific Committee Toxicity, Ecotoxity and the Environment.

Teleworking outside the office - your rights protected

Article Abstract:

40,000 new people every year are expected to work flexible with teleworking, outside the office because of the rights introduced by the DTI. Guidelines for smart teleworking are stated.
