Ethno-cultural diversity and organizational effectiveness: A field study

Article Abstract:

The findings of a study on the links between ethno-cultural diversity and both attitudinal and non-attitudinal measures of performance are presented, using a leading Canadian chartered bank. Culturally heterogeneous branches saw lower absenteeism levels and achieved higher productivity than culturally homogeneous branches, although they had lower scores on job satisfaction, workplace coherence and organizational commitment.

Uncovering the relationship between workaholism and workplace destructive and constructive deviance: an exploratory study

Article Abstract:

A study analyzing the positive and negative aspects of workaholism is presented. The study is based on data collected from 142 employees working in six companies based in Brazil. Workaholism is known to have negative social and economic implications for the workplaces.

Person-organization fit and the war for talent: does diversity management make a difference?

The importance of diversity management at workplace in order to retain the best employees who fit the job and organization is examined. Diversity training for employees make big difference in keeping the best employees from various culture.
