TUC wants equal health and safety rights for all

Article Abstract:

The UK's existing health and safety legislation only covers places of employment with trade union recognition and union approved safety representatives. It is now time for all employees to be entitled to representation, consultation and information on health and safety issues, according to the TUC. The Health and Safety Commission has recently issued draft regulations, under which consultation would be extended to all employees.
