The details of the new agreement for federal and municipal workers negotiated successfully between trade union and German government are presented. The main provisions are for cash payments instead of percentage increases and new working time provisions.

The IG BCE chemical trade union has reached a collective bargaining deal with the BAVC chemical sector workers' organization. The deal calls for a pay hike of 2.6%, as well as committments for long-term working time accounts and training.
