Beyond user acceptance: An examination of employee reactions to information technology systems

Article Abstract:

The processes contributing to the success or the failure of new information technology systems is important to be understood. A process model based on theories related to organizational sense making and socialization to help understand employee reaction to IT systems is developed.

Evolution of the study and practice of personality at work

The evolution of personality research and practice in work environments from the 1900s is studied. The practice is observed to be in a steady-state equilibrium, while rapid changes in focus, analysis, and methodology characterize research in this field.
