Information but not consultation: exploring employee involvement in SMEs

Article Abstract:

Small and medium enterprises that tend to favor informal and direct employee involvement (EI) and how the EI schemes will be under the 2004 Information and Consultation of Employees (ICE) Regulations are examined. It showed that the smaller firms face new challenges under the ICE Regulations.

An eastern and SME version of expatriate management: an empirical study of small and medium enterprises in Taiwan

Article Abstract:

A study examining the 'company-level' expatriate training, expatriation policies, and employees' intentions to take up enhanced roles in organizational performance, is presented. The study has been done on 254 Taiwanese small and medium enterprises with foreign investments.
