Labor law benefits in Indonesia-to fund or not to fund?

Article Abstract:

A Field Vice President with the John Hancock International Group Program (IGP) discusses whether to fund or not to fund the labor law benefits in Indonesia. He suggests that professional tax advice should be preferred before making any decisions regarding either funding or not funding benefit programs in Indonesia.

Implementing a multinational pool-the steps to be taken

Pooling the financing of employee benefits program are desirable as it optimizes the financing of the poolable insured programs and provides head office with information and monitoring the programs in place. The approach to be selected and its merits, the process and the rules to be observed are discussed.
