Old school gets new role

Article Abstract:

The Hamburger University of McDonald's that has six global training centers around the world, which is the centers of learning, and key to the implementation of the company's turnaround plan is going on revitalization. It adopted an aggressive policy called 'The Plan to Win' to overcome the negative business performance by focusing on customers and giving them a consistent experience.

The NYC Leadership Academy, has graduated 77 principals within a year and a half who are already on the job at elementary, middle, and high schools in the New York metropolitan area.

Training: They're lovin' it

Article Abstract:

McDonald's President and COO, Ralph Alvarez discusses about how the training contributed to the company's success which allowed them to change the menu and deliver operations at a higher level. He found that the changes made in training made quick impact on comparable sales and guest counts, which indicated that the attention to training is paying enormous dividends.
