Religious diversity in the UK: census data analysis

Article Abstract:

The key findings of a comparative study of the characteristics of U.K.'s main faith groups, presented by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) based on the 2001 Census, are overviewed. The heads included in the report are - religious populations, unemployment rates, occupations, management, education, disability, geographic distribution, ethnicity, and age and gender. Information on Northern Ireland's Catholic and Protestant Communities is given separately.

Disability is 'the poor diversity relation'

According to a report from Employers Forum on Disability, employers pay less attention to issues related to disability than they pay to issues like race, gender, etc. Other findings in the study are also discussed.
