Research article: Look after they leap: illustrating the value of retrospective reports in employee turnover.

Article Abstract:

Current methodologies for studying employee turnover are criticized as emphasizing too much on predicting causes as opposed to understanding them. This approach to employee turnover research is prone to inaccuracies. Retrospective self-reporting alows greater insight into the decision of employees to quit and is more suited fors studying employee turnover.

Mobley revisited: dynamism in the process of employee turnover

Article Abstract:

W. H. Mobley argued that the study of the turnover process should take into consideration four factors - dynamism, time, actions and operations. An analysis of the role of all the four parameters in the turnover process is presented.
