Technology-assisted supplemental work: Construct definition and a research framework

Article Abstract:

A new broader theoretical framework that explains how organizational climate and employee characteristics promote the performance of technology-assisted supplemental work (TASW) is discussed. The linkages among TASW and job performance, career success, and work-to-family conflict and incorporate media richness and time and boundary managements as moderators of these relationships are mentioned.

In an effort to improve the health and well being of its work force, organizations implement health promotion programs, which in turn, are affected by various social and economic factors. The influence of Employee Health Management Programs (EHMPs) on employee performance and satisfaction, absenteeism and voluntary turnover is examined.
