The impact of European integration on human resources management

Article Abstract:

The social, cultural and economic integration that is reshaping Europe has significant effects on human resources management in the region. The directives introduced by the European Union have been transforming the national legal structures across the region, compelling human resources departments to abandon their national frameworks and comply with the more far-reaching directives. These changes have profound impact on the compensation and benefits schemes although the differences among member countries may slow down their effects.

Flexible benefits in Latin America

Innovative ideas in international compensation

Article Abstract:

The growing number of expatriate workers underscores the need for new compensation schemes that meet the goals of both the employees and their employers. Such schemes should take into account the prevailing economic condition and salary level where the expatriate employee is working. The individual company situations should also be considered in the creation of compensation schemes for expatriate workers.
