Human rights in conflict

Article Abstract:

War is always associated with the violation of a basic set of civil and political human rights by the aggressor, since a political power describes a conflict it is involved in as 'war', so as to facilitate human-rights abuse like disappearance, torture and arbitrary arrest in a supposed concern for national security. The Cold War and the existing 'global war on terror' has led to many threatening actions unaccounted for resulting in human rights abuse.
