Drawing a fine ethical line: is it creative or cunning? Counsel who use demonstratives must zealously advocate their clients' interests but stay within the boundaries of the truth

The importance of intent as an ethical standards governing the choice of demonstrative evidence to use at trial are discussed. Various ways for counsel to minimize the potential for misleading data in such evidence are given.
