French arms, war and genocide in Rwanda

Article Abstract:

This article examines French arms exportation to developing countries, and their involvement in Rwanda. The author maintains France is under intense scrutiny by non-government organizations for their governmental policies toward developing countries and their possible contribution to genocide.

The illicit arms trade: Cold War and post-Cold War

Article Abstract:

This article examines the dynamics of the illicit arms trade both during and after the Cold War. The author maintains that with the end of the Cold War the illicit arms trade has turned into a profit driven enterprise, rather than the policy making tool it once was.

Victimization, survival and the impunity of forced exile: a case study from the Rwandan genocide

This article presents a case study of a Tutsi woman who experienced and witnessed the atrocities of the Rwandan genocide. The author explores both the crimes of genocide and forced exile, and analyzes the experience of victimization.
