The I-way to business growth

Article Abstract:

The Internet and World Wide Web are valuable resources for businesses looking to grow. Electronic Data Interchange can be run through the Internet, allowing for more efficient data exchange between suppliers, customers and businesses. Local Internet service companies should be evaluated for price, services, ability to handle e-mail and charges for a home page. A home page can give customers access without tying up a business phone line and can be used to draw new customers as well. There are also interesting Web pages, such as the Inter@ctive Week's page.

Windows

Article Abstract:

Microsoft Corp's Windows environment has many advantages especially when used on a network system. Some advantages include the use of e-mail to eliminate unnecessary paperwork for bulletins and memos, employer-provided application software to help control illegal software pirating and versions available for laptops or even pen computers. However, certain aspects of the environment will require adjustment for DOS users such as changed commands when software for Windows is used and the need for a mouse.
