Toiling in the vineyards: young leaders in public service work give meaning to 'professionalism.' (President's Page)

Article Abstract:

Law students founded the National Assn for Public Interest Law (NAPIL) in 1986 to create more opportunities for law students and lawyers interested in this area of the law. NAPIL also offers the Fellowships for Equal Justice to help some of the law students who would go into public interest law were it not for their large law school debts.

Celebrating Law Day through diversity

Article Abstract:

The ABA's theme for Law Day USA 1995 on May 1 is 'E Pluribus Unum - Out of Many One,' to emphasize the diversity and variety of the American people unified under one law. It comes at a time of increased signs of exclusion based not only on different origin, but also on appearance, sexual preference, and other factors that truly help to enrich American culture and society.
