The right of privacy has become an increasing concern with the rise of communication technology. The authors review the development of a recognition of the need for privacy protection. They also review privacy protection measures in over 50 different countries.

Privacy on federal civilian computer networks: a Fourth Amendment analysis of the Federal Instrusion Detection Network

The author discusses attempts by the federal government to monitor access to its civilian computer networks in order to prevent cyber-terrorism. He examines the implications for the right of privacy and how the government might reconcile these interests.
