BDB lures Faull from Telewest

Article Abstract:

British Digital Broadcasting (BDB), a digital terrestrial TV operator, has named Ashley Faull, currently the director of programmes at Telewest, as its executive director of programming. Faull, who is yet to finalize when he will join BDB, will be working under the supervision of BDB CEO Stephen Graebner once he start working at BDB. As executive director of programming, Faull is expected to oversee all aspects of BDB's broadcasting operations such as developing channel line up, formulating a programming strategy and negotiating deals.

TV Corp brings in Tomlin to head up outside broadcast operation

Article Abstract:

Television Corp. has announced the designation of Robin Tomlin as managing director of its outside broadcast unit, Visions, effective January 1, 1999. Tomlin, a former managing director of Cinevideo, will succeed Martin Anderson, who was promoted to the newly-established position of divisional managing director. Anderson's new duties include overseeing the company's outside broadcasting interests, which includes the 33.3% stake of the company in Global Television, and looking at new business opportunities.
