Broadcast auxiliary applications

Article Abstract:

The Wireless Telecommunications Bureau has adopted a new form, FCC Form 601, for filing a new remote pickup authorization. The new form replaces the Application of Authorization in the Auxiliary Broadcast Services (form 313), Application for Renewal of Auxiliary Braodcast License (form 313R) and Application for Additional Time to Construct a Radio Station (form 701).

The cutting edge: non-linear editing has transformed progamme making. (Broadcast in Production)

Article Abstract:

Non-linear editing allows greater flexibility and creativity in programme making. There are several systems to choose from and companies such as Immix, Fast, Panasonic and DVision are introducing systems costing between 15,000 to 30,000 pounds sterling. Avid was one of the first companies to offer non-linear operation.
