Cape crusader

Article Abstract:

A wide range of experience in the broadcasting industry has made Michael Attwell the ideal person to become controller of features and arts at new UK broadcaster Channel 5. He produced the first gay programme in the world, and has worked for the BBC, ITV and Channel 4. He now faces the challenge of meeting the demands of a mass market audience from a very limited schedule. He aims to be contemporary and innovative, but has not revealed any specific details about his plans.
