Community broadcasting and the enclosure of the public share

Article Abstract:

Study is presented to show that a process of exclusion operates at other community radio stations and that this is a necessary strategy if they are to meet purpose for which they are established. It is showed that processes of exclusion are riven with conflict and that the ways in which these are managed and controlled is indicative of a community radio station's contribution to democracy.
