Cup runs over for footie fans

The airing of the FA Cup 3rd round featuring Liverpool against Luton on Sky Sports 1 attracted 1.4 million viewers with a 9% share. BBC1's coverage of the Premier League's Villa versus United game took in 7.4 million viewers or 36% share. The ratings of other football games on digital channels are also discussed.
