How to score big-time as a TV and film composer

Article Abstract:

Composers of film music can earn between 35,000 to over 200,000 pounds sterling whilst music for television programs will be worth about 300 pounds sterling per minute of music. The composer is also able to claim royalties for every time their musical work is performed or broadcast. Directors of the film or television program and composers are often most successful when they work well together. The majority of composers are skilled musicians. But they must be able to compose for a wide variety of subjects. Many utilize music-writing software when composing.

The cornucopia tree

Article Abstract:

The neem, or margosa, tree has a huge number of practical uses. For example, the leaves are used to repel insects; a US chemical company has bought the rights to market a pesticide based on the neem. In addition, neem tea is used as an antidote to malaria, and neem oil works against salmonella and staphylococci. The tree, which grows in poor countries in Africa and Asia, may prove to be a windfall for the local economies of those regions.
