It's not a dirty business

Article Abstract:

The trends in product placement on television are discussed. The regulations framed by European Commission and Ofcom in respect of product placement are also discussed. In this context, the paid product placements on BBC are discussed. The benefits of paid product placement are also mentioned and its legitimacy is explained.

It's time for the Lords to step in..

The ineffectiveness of BBC charter reviewed by Department of Culture, Media and Sports (DCMS) is discussed. Now the ball is in the court of House of Lords. It remains to be seen whether the Lords can remedy the situation.
