Article Abstract:

The Edinburgh International TV Festival sponsors potential broadcasting industry talent through the Television and Young People (TVYP) scheme, established in 1992 as a one day seminar which has developed into a week long residential course held at Edinburgh University. The course covers all aspects of the television industry, both at a practical and theoretical level. All the delegates sponsored by the TVYP will be hoping to develop a career in television.
