Pride and prejudice

Article Abstract:

Viewers in the South-east of England tend to watch more BBC television programs and less ITV programs when compared to rest of the country. Light entertainment programs such as Beadles about are preferred less than programs with an intellectual bias such as Have I Got News For You. Viewing figures for Carlton and Meridian regions are much lower than in other areas although drama programs are watched if they are focused in the South. Viewers in the South-East watch more of the soap Eastenders than the national norm.
