Article Abstract:

BSkyB has announced plans to introduce a new digital channel that will be launched specifically in pubs and clubs. The new digital channel will be offered free with other BSkyB services and is expected to be launched before December 31, 1998. Included in the new channel will be pub quizzes and promotional activity based on sporting events. According to a BSkyB spokesperson, there will be more promotional advertising on this new digital channel instead of normal commercials.
