Talent TV chair Bate lands deal-maker role

Article Abstract:

Terry Bate, former chief executive of TV Corporation, has been appointed cha irman of Talent TV and will be given a deal-making role. Bate has acquired almost all of the 14.3% stake of former chair Bob Benton and will be assigned to facilitate deals due to his mergers and acquisitions experience. Bate's professional background and duties are discussed.

Apollo 11 story to launch Five series

Article Abstract:

The second round of "Stranger Than Fiction" series on Five will star with "Apollo 11 - the Untold Story". The other topics include a story on Overtoun Bridge in Scotland. More than 50 dogs have committed suicide from this bridge since 1950s.
