Alias/Wavefront's Maya is releasing its new version 4 software and revising character animation tools, Softimage is introducing its XSI 2.0 software, and Discreet has the worlds best-seller of three dimensional(3D) package software. OS systems are replacing 3D packages, however, it is still the talented technician that is necessary to produce good graphics.

More than 90 nights of filming with police from late-night public order patrols to drugs operations were needed to produce the 12 half and hour the series of 'Crimefighters U.K.'. The filming crew followed the police through helicopter chases and drug operations, witnessing lucky escapes from serious injury and law many times.
