Threat of 96-hour strike looms after early BBC staff talks

BBC staff have indicated that they are planning to go on a 96-hour strike in January 2008, after 40 BBC News, Vision and production staff attended a Television Centre meeting. The scope of the ballot on industrial action is discussed.
