Accelerating Transformation

Article Abstract:

In order to accelerate the process of Army Transformation some changes have been put into effect such as the Department of Defenses (DoD) materiel acquisition guidance that will help put basic functional capabilities more rapidly into the Army and then improve them over a period of time. A combined effort from the industrial, academic, scientific and technological communities will help to design the complete set of joint capabilities that will be required by joint combatant commanders to see first, understand first, act first and finish decisively every time.
