Article Abstract:

The June 2004 NATO Summit meeting at Istanbul, Turkey evidenced that there was no colossus that could bring down the 26-nation US/European alliance. Therefore, any conceivable NATO breakdowns is expected to come out of insufficient synchronicity among member states for proper responses to the challenges facing the trans-Atlantic community which includes war on terror, structural modernization of troops, weapons and related equipment, and globalization's imperatives.

US and allied land warfare equipment industry: Status and capacity of suppliers

Article Abstract:

The status of the world's top land warfare industry suppliers is discussed. The US and allied land forces should be at the right place to conduct effects-based combat operations that are configured from secure and speedily-obtained verifiable intelligence and in 2006 they have plans for the proper platforms and basic weapons-systems for the expected standard conventional and unconventional missions.

US assessments - Middle East "insecurity"

Article Abstract:

The assessments made by the US government regarding the insecurities in the Middle East region are discussed. The US, the European Union (EU) and few Arab governments want some drastic changes in the Middle East as the Israel/Hezbollah fighting has renewed.
