Artillery in Asia

Article Abstract:

Significant changes are taking place significantly to operate the field guns and their supporting systems with mobility, light weight, precision strike capability ease of handling and a smaller crew. The most noticeable trends concerning artillery in Asia are the shift to the standard 155mm caliber to replace the previous variety and other caliber assets.

Armour for urban combat

Article Abstract:

Challenges of urban warfare need to be recognized, as future conflicts are expected to move away from open spaces or deserts into cities and other built-up areas. The various modifications needed to effectively adapt traditional weapons designed for desert and open terrain warfare to urban combat are discussed.
