B-52 CCJ gets high-level consideration

Article Abstract:

The Pentagon's Special Access Program Ov ersight Council (SAPOC) had a meeting to consider a pending gap in stand-off jamming support for Air Force planes entering defended airspace in future combat operations. Boeing-Wichita announced a partnership with Northrop Grumman to compete to develop the B-52 Core Component Jammer if the SAPOC goes through with the program.

Air Force C-130s first in line for new RWR

Article Abstract:

The C-130 transports of the US Air Force's Air Mobility Command will be the first aircraft fitted with the new ALR-69A(V) digital radar warning receivers (RWR). Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems was awarded an $11.9 million contract for production and installation of the RWRs on C-130 aircraft.
