Bankrupting the terror business

Article Abstract:

National governments throughout the world have taken the initiative in suppressing the financing of terrorist organizations. The UN Convention on the Suppression of the Financing of Terrorism which was opened for signature in Jan 2000 urges governments to stifle the sources of financing of terrorism through front, cover and sympathetic organizations of terrorist organizations operating within their boundaries.

Al-QaedaEs operational ties with allied groups

The framework of Al-Qaeda leadership that has dispersed its organizers, trainers, financiers and human couriers around the world to support the Islamic groups that shall pursue its agenda, is described. Al-Qaeda is studying the ways to defend its groups across international border, by detecting the intermediary that has proved to be significant in preventing future terrorist attacks.
