'Brilliant Mariner' tests maritime component of NATO response force

Article Abstract:

NATO's Static Maritime Component Commander Admiral Sir James Burnell-Nurgent stated that 'Brilliant Mariner', latest NATO Response Force (NRF) exercise was probably the most diverse maritime NATO exercise that they have ever done. With 64 ships, two submarines and approximately 6,000 military personnel taking part from 18 NATO nations, including Canada, Estonia, Latvia and Poland, as well as units from partner nations Finland, Sweden and Ukraine, the exercise was well supported.

Royal New Zealand navy plans to extend reach of WPNS course

Article Abstract:

The Chief of the New Zealand navy is planning to introduce a course for Western Pacific Naval Symposium (WPNS) member countries. It would strengthen the personal relationships and deepen communications between naval personnel of the participating member countries.
