CO2 absorption systems for use in submarines

Article Abstract:

Drager Sicherheitstechnik develops and manufactures carbon dioxide absorption systems for use in confined confined spaces such as submarines and shelters. The company has introduced the A 2000 Carbon Dioxide Scrubber system which uses DragerSorb as absorbent. The A 2000 consists of compact modules with integrated drawers, with drawer capable of holding 6 absorbing cartridges. The scrubber system can reduce and maintain the carbon dioxide level in boat atmosphere to 0.5% by volume.

ESM systems for submarines

Article Abstract:

DaimlerChrysler AG's Defense and Civil Systems Business Unit has introduced several electronic warfare (EW) sensors and systems for marine applications. The USK800 sensor family delivers the modular concept in multifunction EW sensors for simple integration during upgrade programs. The FL 1800 U system is an intelligent Electronic Support Measure system for tactical deployment on small platforms, while the SPS-N 5000 Radar ESM system was developed for deployment on submarines.
