CV90120 gets AAC hard-kill system

Article Abstract:

The Hagglunds CV90120 light tank demonstrator was one of the centerpieces of BAE Systems' stand at Eurosatory 2006. In addition to its structural armour and waterspray guided-weapon countermeasure system, it was for the first time publicly displayed with a representation of the active armour concept (AAC), which German company IBD Deisenroth Engineering designed and is implementing in association with it Swedish associate company Akers Krutbruk, under contract to the Swedish FMV defence material administration.

Serbia offers BMS upgrade for M84 MBT

Article Abstract:

Yugoimport-SDPR has developed a battlefield management system (BMS) that is an upgrade for M84 main battle tank (MBT). It provides the tank crew with a tank company display on a situation map, mission planning support, tank positioning and navigation company level data communications and fire co-ordination facilities.

KMW touts vertical-launch missile tank concept

Article Abstract:

Krauss-Maffei Wegmann is proposing a new armored combat vehicle which would carry vertically launched missiles along with a medium caliber cannon. The missiles could be targeted against aircraft, missiles, armored vehicles and strategic points.
