Canada completes ESM system but navy lacks purchasing funds

Article Abstract:

Defense Research and Development Canada (DRDC)) has completed the development of the next generation of electronic support measures (ESM) technology, but the Canadian Navy lacks the funds to purchase the system for its ships. Further, the Department of National Defense (DND) would decide the future of the stalled Canadian Electronic Warfare System 2 (CANEWS2) project.
