Canada's ground based air defence provided by 4 Air Defence Regiment, is equipped with the Oerlikon Contraves Air Defence Anti-Tank System (ADATS). Its main mission is to provide airspace coordination support and ground based air defence to the Canadian forces with ADATS as its main asset.
