Captain William M. Chubb, US Navy Program Manager, Advanced Tactical Aircraft Protection Systems, (PMA - 272) Naval Air Systems Command

Article Abstract:

Captain William M. Chubb of the US Navy provides his opinion on the ongoing operations of the Army and Marine Corps in Iraq and Afghanistan. His expertise as a program manager also allows him to speak about the laser-based, directed infrared countermeasure systems (DIRCMs) that will be installed on the Marine Corps' CH-53E and CH-46E helicopters through the Northrop Grumman contracts. His views on various subjects regarding the Navy's actions to reform EW systems are also given.
